Description
  
 The Highlands Festival Tap and Run 4K is a street festival with live music, art and craft vendors, and a 4K beer drinking race all tied in together! The local bars along with one of our favorite breweries will be sponsoring this year, and a portion of proceeds will go to CASA.  

Advertising Done for This Event
  
 Print: Velocity, Leo, Metromix
 Radio: Clear Channel Radio, promotional schedule with 98.9 & 100.5 (radio, streaming, website) starting the first week of Oct and running for 3 weeks leading up to the event.  98.9 will be on-side during race day from roughly 2:00 - 5:00.
 Social Media:  Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare
 Posters, on-site marketing materials, email blasts.
 Promo teams: Jam Active teams of two will be armed with IPads to show race promo video and to handle registration on the spot.  The teams are scheduled to to visit the sponsoring locations (O'Shea's Irish Pub, Flanagan's Ale House, Brendan O'Shea's, both Molly Malone's locations, and Wick's).  

Event/Application Rules & Regulations
  
 1.     During the Highlands Festival scheduled for Saturday, October 22nd, vendor will be provided with a 10’ x 10’ area for use during the festival.
 2.     It will be the responsibility of vendor to assemble their area in a fashion consistent with the spirit of the festival, provide a 10’ x 10’ tent, man the assigned area, beginning at 1:00 p.m., and disassemble and remove property no sooner than 7:00 p.m. or immediately after the festival ends at 11:00 p.m.  Vendor will identify at this time the activity or product available in vendor’s area.
 3.     Vendor agrees to hold and save harmless the Producers and Sponsors of the Highlands Festival for any and all claims that may arise in connection with vendor’s operation of the assigned area.  Producers and Sponsors will not be liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged products.
 4.     In consideration of assigned space, vendor agrees to pay the sum of $50 ($60 if electricity is needed) which includes the cost of vendor permit from the City of Louisville.  The signed contract can be emailed to Ashley@louisvilleirishpubs.com  and payment in the form of a check can be mailed to:

 Common Rules Selected:Vendors can share a booth. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. Pets OK! Standard Rules:All work and displays must stay within designated space. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.
