Cathy Hillegas is a watercolor artist and a watercolor painting instructor. Her paintings are filled with dramatic light and color and have won awards in many juried shows. Cathy's work may be found at the Gallery on Pearl (New Albany), at her website (www.CathyHillegas.com), and on Etsy (www.cathyHillegas.etsy.com), and at most of the outdoor art fairs (St. James, Madison Chautuaqua, Art In Speed Park, etc.). Cathy is currently teaching 4 watercolor classes a week at Mt. St. Francis (6 minutes from the Sherman Minton Bridge, near Floyds Knobs, IN). Classes last 6 weeks and are offered all year on Monday and Tuesday nights and Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Cathy has over 12 years of teaching experience.
