Painting excites me. I love color. I enjoy painting people, wildlife, landscapes, covered bridges, butterflies, African animals, the Pacific coast, subjects from wineries, the southwest, adobe buildings, buffalo, prairies, Florida, water, the beach activity, palm trees, blue herons and basically anything that "gets me going".
I paint some abstracts, realism and impressionistic pieces. Diversity keeps it interesting.
I have become primarily a watercolor artist, but have painted in oil for twenty years and continue to do so. I also paint in acrylic and pastel. I have giclees of some of my artwork and originals available. I do commissioned work.
